Guwahati Campus library is spread over three rooms with a total area of 65 sq.mts. It has in its collection about 6800 books covering major social science domains. Also, users have access to about 10,298+ eJournals from the main library portal.

There are three rooms, one for books shelves, one for reading and third one for cyber library.

Following initiatives have been taken to make the library a 'happening place' on campus:

• Arrangement of conducive reading environment in the library

• Arrange a platform for workshop and seminar

• Book Display from different publishers at regular basis

• Different kind of orientation programs organized to orient users

• Library make up to date to users by publishing Library Blog at daily basis

• Different kind of Alert services are provided to users.

TISS Guwahati Campus Library believes in participative method of management. During orientation and after orientation, library give an opportunity to user to suggest any thing regarding the management of library. Library also allow users to recommend and suggest books& journals in strengthening the collection dvelopment of library. Suggestion box has been kept to receive suggestions. After receiving suggestions, library put suggestions /feedback before the library committee and library committee takes decisions according to merit and demerits of suggestions.
